![]() You can scan the planet at your leisure, you just need to remember to hold the direction stick in the direction you were moving the Normandy before you press the cancel button to back-out to the map. When you want to scan a planet or pick up some fuel, it's a simple case of getting to the hotspot ahead of the Reapers and hammering the activate button. Upon escaping, you can then simply re-enter the same map (you'll end up at the opposite edge from where you left), you get a few more seconds before the Reapers come back, and you can simply repeat the process infinitely until you've uncovered all the hotspots. It's way too easy to simply keep scanning for a few more seconds while you move to the border of the map to escape. The problem now is they're actually nothing but a minor irritation that merely get in your way and don't actually force you to adopt any particular tactics or even do what you were supposed to do - leave the system and return when a mission is completed.Įven if you summon the Reapers, they're not exactly a whole lot quicker than you. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I used to really like the idea of the Reapers on the Galaxy Map. ![]()
